The role of an IT support analyst is a hands on approach to making things happen within the organisation. You will be supporting the head office team with all IT queries and problem solving on projects that will be delivered across the group.

This position will include the following responsibilities:

•             Providing telephone and desktop support to internal Head Office users professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high degree of customer service

•             Troubleshooting, installing and updating desktop PC / Laptop hardware, software, printers, scanners, phones and other peripherals.

•             Taking ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.

•             Supporting users in the use of computer and telephone equipment by providing necessary training and advice.

•             Ensuring that daily checks are carried out on the Head Office IT Infrastructure

•             Managing the routine backups and archival of files stored on the network.

•             Maintaining a log of any software or hardware problems detected.

•             Allocating more complex service issues to the relevant  IT Specialist.

•             Administering and maintaining end user accounts, permissions and access rights.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

We are looking for a graduate with the right drive and determination to forge a career in IT. A minimum of a 2.ii degree in a related IT or Computer Science degree with exposure to key areas including:

•             General knowledge of the following operating systems:-. Windows XP / Windows 7 and Windows 2003 / 2008 Server.

•             Experience of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software

•             Understanding of corporate backup procedures and policies.

•             General knowledge of MS Active Directory and corporate email systems.

•             Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, and delegation).

•             Knowledge of WAN / LAN / WIFI and TCP/IP

•             Experience of documenting and writing IT procedures.

•             Excellent telephone manner and face to face communication skills.

•             Takes pride in providing an excellent operational IT service
