Symington’s are seeking a hands-on graduate who will be able to design and implement efficient and effective business processes making the most of available IT resources. We are looking for a pro-active graduate who has a strong interest in Information Technology and Systems. 

We are looking for Graduates from a Business or IT degree background who have a strong interest in Information Technology and knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL Databases. The ideal candidate will willingly take responsibility to improve their understanding of the infrastructure and seek to provide long lasting solutions and improvements.

You will be getting involved in a variety of projects that will develop Symington's IT infrastructure.  These will include developing interfaces, databases, websites, CRM systems and the company intranet.

This role requires an individual who can think commercially and use their initiative to demonstrate how the IT function can support the wider business.

The successful candidate will also be enrolled onto the OPEN programme, a post-graduate accredited management training scheme in order to develop you further as a future business leader.

Candidates applying for this role will need to have a university agree with a 2.1 or above, ideally in a business related degree with IT. As this role involves IT development, candidates will need to have an understanding of IT systems including Visual Basic (VB) and SQL Databases.
