Job summary

Interactive Design Institute has an opportunity for a graduate to develop and improve the sales processes. This is a 12 month placement with the possibility of converting to a permanent role.

Role Description

Due to further expansion and success of our business we require a new team member to work with the Marketing Manager and sales team to improve processes on an on-going basis.

The graduate will lead the development and improvement of sales processes to maximise the opportunity for new business growth particularly from overseas.

The successful candidate will be expected to work as a member of the sales team, to help the company meet student enrolment goals, and to introduce our courses to new overseas markets.

Additionally the role includes the opportunity to suggest and implement improvements to the sales process to increase the efficiency and conversion rates and to provide a better service to both our potential customers and a better work-flow for the team.

Full training on our current process, products and systems will be provided.

As part of the TalentScotland Graduate Placement Programme, the candidate will benefit from support from a team within Scottish Enterprise and will have access to training.

Skills / Experience

Essential:

-          A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Studies, Design or a related discipline.

-          Knowledge of Sales processes

-          Good telephone manner - call centre experience would be an advantage.

-          Able to work independently and within a small, dedicated team

-          Possess a high level of organisational and time management skills

-          Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ideal:

-          The ability to analyse statistical data

-          Knowledge of the telephone system and Salesforce skills used by IDI

-          Time management, organisational skills

-          Prioritising, planning, problem solving, reacting to change

-          Working as part of a team

-          Customer care; building a rapport with the applicant

Qualifications

-          A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Studies, Design or a related discipline.
