Job summary

Labels4Kids are looking for an International Digital Marketing Executive to increase brand awareness through offline and online marketing, both in the UK and internationally, particularly Germany. The graduate will primarily focus on building the brand on social media and via PR but this is a broad role and could cover several business functions. This is a 12 month placement with a view to permanent hire based in Stirling.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a chance to contribute to a number of projects; the key responsibilities are the headings below:

Marketing Strategy:

·         Design and implement a marketing strategy, alongside the International Development Manager,

·         Managing Director in order to build the brand, especially in international markets,

·         Market research skills in order to e.g. benchmark against competitors,

·         Promotional activity, potentially both in print and in person,

·         Produce Marketing reports.

Social Media and websites:

·         Website optimisation of all Country sites but particularly Germany,

·         Improve rankings on Search Engines,

·         Updating the websites and database for the UK and foreign sites,

·         Writing and loading blogs,

·         Monitoring Google analytics and reporting on this,

·         Use social media as a key marketing channel,

·         Monitor and develop the Social Media network for the business,

·         Deliver brand awareness through Social Media campaigns,

·         Acquire new followers and report to management on progress,

·         Write PR articles and upload on wavepr and other unpaid and paid pr platforms as agreed with the Managing Director.

Business Operations:

·         Candidate will potentially have line management responsibility, and knowledge of IT/Microsoft and Databases,

·         Printing, packing, customer services, taking payments and making refunds, ordering, supplier reconciliations of debtors and creditors, some accounting and budgeting and stock takes,

·         The International Business Executive and Managing Director will allocate work on a project basis covering anything from franchise development to marketing, and supporting the Administration Manager,

·         All staff are expected to muck in with day to day operations, as necessary in a small business context.

Skills / Experience

This role is suitable for an individual who enjoys the entrepreneurial nature of high growth businesses and is able to demonstrate the following:


·         Strong knowledge and active use of all Social Media marketing platforms

·         Ability to use Google analytics

·         Strong understanding and use of all aspects of business reporting, Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel

·         Ability to learn quickly on the job - new concepts, skills and techniques

·         Strong team-working skills and personable to fit in well with the rest of the employees whilst being able to manage them and get the best out of the team

·         Self-motivation - Ability to work individually under own initiative

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, e.g. presentation and report writing

·         Forward thinking, commercially focused

·         Multi tasks projects - Ability to deliver multiple (sometimes detailed) pieces of work within the cost and time constraints, as there is a need to deal with high demand in orders taken online and going to production and packaging.

Highly desirable

·         A native German speaker or someone who has fluent, up-to-date business but alternatively fluency in any of Swedish or French, or Spanish would be useful

·         Knowledge of graphic design, INdesign and photoshop would be beneficial

·         Knowledge of Magento databases would be useful

·         A sound understanding of IT and not fazed by having to solve problems, e.g. fixing computers, printers or software.


The candidate would ideally have a social media, IT or marketing degree. However, all degree disciplines will be considered if the candidate is able to demonstrate the Skills listed.
