Internal sales Executive û Scientific Cambridge Up to ú15k basic + ú2k Bonus The Company We are a leading designer and manufacturer of ultra-violet products for scientific, industrial and educational applications. We offer a broad range of ultra-violet products, e.g. handheld lamps, transilluminators, Crosslinkers, viewing cabinets, radiometers and low pressure light sources. In addition, we offer a complete line of hybridisation oven products and other lab related products. Due to our increased focus on the Life Science area, we have the following position available: Sales Support Coordinator This position will assist and work as part of the Scientific Sales team and will be responsible for supporting sales to our customers (end-users, traders and distributors) on all product groups (Laboratory, BioImaging and UV/Industrial). Hiring someone in this position is critical in order to sustain and support sales, through direct sales and sales through distributors. Sales Support Tasks ò Contribute to the sales through existing and new distributor channels ò Provide telephone / E-mail support to end-users and distributors ò Answer sales inquiries for all UVP products (telephone / E-mail) ò Prepare quotations ò Order entry back-up ò Help define /assess stock needs to satisfy customer orders Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in sales support, customer service or inside sales. Knowledge of general molecular biology is an advantage, but not required. Working knowledge of French, German and Spanish would be an advantage (but not required). PERSONAL QUALITIES The candidate must be comfortable with customers at all levels (end-users and distributors) maintaining a friendly and professional manner. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to communicate confidently. The successful candidate must have the ability to prioritise and to manage time well. This is very important as things can get demanding at times. The candidate must be capable of working comfortably in a small sales team. You must be flexible with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
