Denvir Marketing has an exciting, unique opportunity for a graduate to join their Insight & Market Research Team. This is a stimulating and varied role with full support and training, primarily focusing on growing the Insight and Research side of the business through research, data analysis and implementing industry best practice. This is a 12 month placement with a view to permanent hire, based in Stirling.

Job Description

Denvir Marketing, a Market Research Society Company Partner, are looking for a graduate to help grow our Insight & Research. This important role will support our Insight Manager and Account Management team on a variety of research and insight projects across a number of sectors. Working closely with the Insight & Research Manager, the graduate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of this growing area of Denvir's service offering, with a focus on complying with Best Practice Processes and identifying and offering solutions for operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

The Graduate will have a stimulating and varied role, initially shadowing, and then working with, the Insight & Research Manager to project manage a number of different clients', carry out quantitative and qualitative research and analyse data. Being MRS accredited, it is essential all projects adhere to best practice processes around research, data protection, confidentiality etc.

Tasks will include:

  • Retail Insight
  • Market and Company Research, e.g. market reports, new companies
  • Lead focus groups
  • Draft surveys
  • Data analysis, identifying key trends, etc
  • Work with a broad range of client in all sectors
  • Project Management
  • Budgetary management of all projects
  • Supporting project managers

Skills / Experience

Essential Skills

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for learning
  • Passion for data and detail
  • Strong interest in research and analysis
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Proven project management skills.

Desired Skills

  • Experience and/or understanding of working with data in Excel (or SPSS)
  • Experience and/or understanding of retail environment
  • Strong commercial skills
  • Passion for brands
  • Full Driving License - much of the work requires on-site research (company car available).

Qualifications

Graduate from any undergraduate degree or above.
