ICT Coordinator / Helpdesk Technician / IT Support

Our client is a leading provider of training, project management and research & consultancy services to the UK’s metals and manufacturing sectors. It has 40 employees. It has a Windows 2003 based network and also runs a range of Linux applications on a separate cluster.
The company are currently seeking a suitably qualified and capable person to coordinate their ICT systems and support. In this role, you will carry out basic support therefore an operational understanding of Windows Server 2003 is important. You will also be required to support Microsoft Office and Microsoft CRM (training in the use of CRM will be provided).
You will have a number of specific responsibilities and this will include controlling hardware and network support issues, coordinating 3rd party support and managing Microsoft Office. You will be involved in purchasing software and carrying out annual software audits whilst coordinating application installations and CRM developments. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all staff members are trained to use the network, Microsoft Office and Microsoft CRM.
The successful candidate will possess a degree or equivalent in computer studies and / or the A+ PC Technician qualification. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ideally will have worked on a helpdesk previously.
Located in Rotherham, this role is commutable from areas such as Sheffield, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Macclesfield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Huddersfield and Wakefield.
