EXPIRY NOTICE: This job has now expired and will not be accepting any more applications.

Globe Business Publishing provides high quality news and information to the UK and international legal profession and has developed the most widely-used online graduate recruitment system in the UK.

We value committed self-starters who work hard, play hard, and inject a lively professionalism into all their business relationships.

The Role

We are looking for Computer Science graduates (2007 or earlier) to work on our market-leading online application system. You will need to be familiar with:

  • Virtual Studio 2005
  • ASP.Net 2.0
  • C#
  • MS SQL Server 2005

As with all areas of our business, effective communication and self-reliance are vital attributes. Dialogue between team members is essential for project work, and you will also need to explain technical issues in easy language to non-IT colleagues and potentially to clients. And while you will need the ability to work under your own steam, you will be supported by an experienced and highly-skilled team leader, who will have a crucial role in your training and development..

If you meet this profile, and would appreciate being given a high level of autonomy and responsibility, then we want to meet you. Starting salary is based on experience. Start date will be no later than Summer 2007 (earlier if possible).
