Our client is the UK’s statutory compensation fund of last resort for customers of authorised financial services firms.
They currently have exciting opportunities for 3 Graduate Trainees to join their team in Tower Hill, London.
These roles will be responsible for analysing data, providing written reports within predefined guidelines across various business work streams (in particular verifying compliance of various types of deposit takers to FSA rules enabling Single Customer View for Faster Payout), cleansing and preparing financially-related data for the purposes of claims processing, tracking and analysis by colleagues. This role involves a great deal of data handling and verification and the successful candidate must be confident and comfortable in dealing with large and complex amounts of data.
The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) along with excellent attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience of working with SQL and demonstrable data analysis skills are essential for this role. This person should be pro-active, quick to pick new skills and have an appetite for hard work. They must have excellent interpersonal skills. Advanced Excel skills would be highly advantageous.
