The ideal candidate for this Trainee Recruitment Consultants role will be degree educated and have sales or telesales experience. This recruitment consultancy particularly likes entrepreneurial individuals and it will be viewed positively if you have worked throughout University. A retail management background would also be advantageous. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of what recruitment involves and have sound reasoning for wanting to start a role in recruitment consultancy.

This is a full Trainee Recruitment Consultants role and some ongoing client recruitment assignments will be given to you so that you can manage and work immediately on client requirements. This role is also largely business development focused to develop both new and existing clients further. As 30% of our clients’ business is search-related, this role will also actively involve headhunting to recruit candidates at all levels of seniority.
The ability to work quickly is essential as a lot of the candidate interviews you will be conducting will be over the telephone as this recruitment consultancy recruit nationally; however, there will be an emphasis on meeting all candidates face to face where possible so that you may sell them successfully to your clients. Similarly, client visits will be an integral part of your role so that you may develop client relationships fully and effectively.
