Graduate Trainee – Mechanical Engineer

Based Sheffield UK (with a European Placement)

£20,000 plus Benefits

 

Our client has become a forging industry leader that can serve as a "One Stop Shop” for original equipment manufacturers anywhere in the world.

 

The company currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical engineering graduate to join them and grow and develop skills within the organisation whilst working on a wide range of business critical projects.

 

Through secondments into different departments and different manufacturing sites, you will gain a full understanding of the business and, as you progress, you will be given the opportunity to tailor your programme to suit your aspirations. Your placements will be at a variety of our client’s manufacturing sites and your first placement will be at the site in Eger, Hungary.  Because of this you must display flexibility in moving to the different locations (assistance will be provided).

 

Successful candidates will have an honours degree at a 2:2 level or above in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.

 

An organised team player, who is innovative and highly motivated, your conscientious approach to work will be matched by excellent communication skills and the self-confidence to interact with people at all levels. Above all, you should be able to show your enthusiasm and commitment to get your career moving with a successful multi-national company.

 

Location: UK locations, Yorkshire and Humberside
