From the outset, graduates will become involved in all aspects of Engineering, including Project/Contract and Commercial Management. These positions will involve working in Civil, Railway and Building services engineering and whilst technical competence is important, you will also be strongly encouraged to use and develop your Management skills. Graduate traineeÆs will be appointed to one of our operational divisions that requires the skills the graduate will be able to bring to their business. The structured training programme normally lasts for three years and gives the trainee the opportunity to gain the experience required by the appropriate professional institution. Our training schemes are approved by the Institutions of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and we encourage and assist our staff to gain membership of other professional bodies. Experienced senior staff provide the support and guidance for these schemes. During the first year of employment, graduates trainee engineers will be given the opportunity to participate in a centrally run programme designed to give an introduction to the major parts of the business. Career development is monitors through a formal review process every 3 û 12 months throughout the training programme. Graduates are actively encouraged to pursue membership of their chosen professional institution. SUBJECT OF STUDY/DISCIPLINES: If you can demonstrate ambition alongside a minimum 2:2 degree in either in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, building services engineering, quantity surveying, business/management related û we will make a substantial investment in your long term development.
