This medical devices business started life over 20 years ago as a privately run business, acting as the sole UK distributor for a major German orthopaedic implant manufacturer. In 2003 the business was acquired bringing a great deal of additional experience and a wealth of added resource.
The Role
As a Graduate Territory Sales Executive you will be managing the South East geographical region. You will be responsible for managing and developing your account base, predominately hospitals, within your territory and for delivering profitable business.
The majority of your time will be you will be selling to Orthopaedic Surgeons and key stake holders within hospitals. This is very much a consultative sales opportunity and will require you to be involved in threatre with Surgeons,
providing them with the best possible solution.
The company will provide you with a detailed in induction programme covering all their products and the majority of your time in the first month will spent shadowing the National Sales Manager and other Sales Executives.
Naturally this sales role will involve a lot of networking and entertaining, which will require you to work outside the normal working day.
The Person
The Successful candidate will need to be highly self motivated, a strong character, resourceful and have the ability to tackle challenging situations. As a small business they require individuals to have strong work ethic and take responsibility of the role.
