Project Description

Opinurate are looking to develop their Customer Experience Management product in order to improve efficiency of working within the business and the data and capabilities we are able to offer clients, such as Hamilton Park, Soft Play, Olly&Nick, Fleet Alliance and McGregor McDuff Kiltmakers. We currently collect data from customers in order to give our clients feedback about their business and customer experience. The graduate will be the key player in improving the current systems, which could involve several development projects:

· General tweaking of the software and creating new modules in order to give clients the data they want

· Creating and implementing a mobile strategy in order to move our facilites to the mobile platform

· Creating new software using Natural Language Processing that can assist with processing data and creating more exciting and illustrative reports

· Improving the way the system works for the business, e.g. wider access of system to staff

Role Description

Key tasks will include:

· Assisting in the development of Opinurate CEM product

· Writing automated functional tests

· Creating end user and technical documentation

· Requirements capture and software specification

· Support liaison between Opinurate’s developers and the company’s clients.

Skills / Experience

Essential - Knowledge and/or experience in the majority of the below:

· PHP

· Object-oriented Programming

· Relational Databases (i.e. MySQL)

· Strong communication skills

· Ability to work in a team and to tight deadlines

Ideal - Knowledge and/or experience in the majority of the below:

· PHP5.3 or later

· Knowledge of PHP5 MVC frameworks (i.e. Symfony)

· Some PHP Testing Experience (i.e. PHPUnit)

· Experience of PHP IDEs (i.e. NetBeans, Eclipse)

· Design Patterns

· Source Control (i.e. Subversion, Git)

· HTML/CSS proficiency (HTML5/CSS3 a bonus).

Qualifications

Graduate from undergraduate degree or above. All disciplines accepted.
