Infoplex has an exciting opportunity for a graduate to work on the development of new software solutions utilizing our core software package. This will involve programming skills as well as dealing with support calls.This is a 12 month placement with the possibility of converting to a permanent role.

Infoplex would like to increase sales via the website to encourage existing and potential clients to buy their services online.

They require a graduate, working with a senior staff, to develop and implement a couple of specific new solutions that will integrate with their existing solutions and work with the TAS Software channel. In addition, they are creating a new web channel sales strategy and this role will be key to how this develops over the next few years. The graduate will also deal with clients who may choose make enquiries or sales via telephone or mail.

Role Description

Infoplex is looking for an energetic team based web development graduate.

Daily tasks will include:

-          Managing the website

-          Working with the other software developers on ongoing system development

-          Talking with clients, both on support and sales calls, to offer advice re our solutions

-          Expected output will be a number of nominated well designed and fully functioning software solutions in line with our 2.12/13 development plans

Skills / Experience

Essential Skills

-          .NET Development in VB (or C# accepted)

-          Experience using 3rd party APIs highly desirable

-          Experience with WinForms and COM InterOp highly desirable

-          Experience with Microsoft T-SQL for SQL Server highly desirable

-          Communications and interpersonal skills to deal with customers

-          Working in a team

Ideal Skills

-          Some web development experience (HTML, ASP.NET, PHP)

-          Sales experience

-          Understanding of accounts


-          Degree in ICT/ Software design or related


-          Part of growing team

-          Exposure to software market

-          Exposure to Sage development

-          ongoing training in other aspects of the business
