Project Description

There is a requirement for Diageo Europe Supply to ensure that all brands are analysed for nutritional and allergenic purposes and this information is uploaded to DrinkIQ for all current brands and products.

One of the key aims of this role is to work with the Lead Project Scientist to expedite, track and monitor progress of this project, helping to define a robust process for ensuring information is valid, current and available. The information may be obtained by undertaking laboratory analysis or derived from formulation.

This will involve working with TCE Analysis, Liquid Development and Brand Technical equity departments, as well as Global IS and Commercial Effectiveness teams.

Role Description

The purpose of this role is to provide a science discipline based graduate/intern with rich and valuable experience in a real business environment to support their development as a professional.

This specific project will provide a real value add opportunity to Diageo. A lot of work is required to get all nutritional data gathered for all ingredients of Diageo brands.

DrinkIQ.com is a Diageo consumer-facing website providing nutritional and allergenic information for all our brands and there is an aspiration that this website will be stated on all Diageo brand labels.

Main responsibilities will include:

·         Provision of information and updates of progress to the Lead Manager

·         Ability to monitor progress of project and meet deadlines

·         Ability to work cross functionally to gather information to allow further progress in the defined task

·         Responsibility for identifying and maintaining information regarding the nutritional ingredients of Diageo brands.

Qualifications

·         Graduate from a science/technical discipline, preferably analytical or forensic.
