We are looking to grow our business by taking in fresh graduate level talent into different functions and we are on the lookout for budding sales professionals.

Sitting within the commercial side of our business you will be proactively driving sales in an adaptive way. Initially spending time in our Telemarketing teams, you will be responsible for acquiring and developing new business sales leads. You will be expected to approach a variety of businesses throughout the UK offering the full range of Intercity services. Following on from this you will move into Account Management where you will be proactively managing customer accounts and developing relationships.

Ultimately you will become a Business Development Executive, where you will be securing new clients for Intercity.

This is very much a proactive role – this is much more than simply cold calling. We’re looking for someone to come in and take a creative approach by really taking the time to understand our customers and their needs.

The ideal applicant will be educated to degree level with a minimum of a 2.2 (or equivalent) and hold a full EU Driving licence.

  • Have the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally

  • Be adaptable and think outside of the box to come up with new approaches and ways of working.
