Chocolate Tester û sounds like a dream job!! We are a well known FMCG chocolate confectioner, following on from our recent successes and new brands launched we are looking to recruit an food science Graduate for a Quality assurance role. We pride ourselves on the outstanding levels of innovation and quality associated with our brands, many of which you will be familiar with from any of the major Super market retailers û Sainsburys, Asda, Tesco and Waitrose all promote our products. Your tasks will include: ò Incoming material inspection ò Product physical assessment ò Product weight control and scale calibration ò Product coding/presentation ò Product safety checks (metal detection/microbiology tests) ò Product sampling ( Yesàà..Chocolate testing) To review and continuously improve quality and food safety systems procedures and records. To compile all quality assurance data for trend analysis and communicate reports to other departments. To audit process, fabric, equipment and building, and advise on necessary improvements. To be considered for this role, you must be a recent graduate from a strong food background. This will have been demonstrated through a related degree ( Food science, Food Technology, Biochemistry, nutrition) and good academic results ( A-levels must be C and above and a 2ii or above at degree) Experience is not essential but is preferred and will be reflected in the salary.
