Graduate Engineer
Location: Tiverton, Devon (but will need to travel around the Aston Manor sites i.e. Aston/Stourport etc)

You may be more familiar with our brands than you are with Aston Manor, but as the UK s No.1 independent cider maker and the second largest producer in the UK our business is no small beer! We operate from three sites, the brewery and head office in Birmingham, extensive orchards and pressing facility in the Malvern Hills and a fermenting and bottling plant in Devon.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Director, this role supports the engineering requirments of the production facilities. You will assist in carrying out feasibility studies into strategic projects as determined by Engineering Director. After training you will be responsible for the daily project management of all group minor capital projects. Likewise you will assist in project engineering tasks of all group major projects.

As a Graduate Project Engineer you will work closely with the site engineering managers to facilitate the on-site driving of installation and commissioning through to site handover of all group major projects.

With a responisbility for helath and safety you will ensure alll project related contractors comply with group and site safety policies and all notifiable projects are correctly documented to comply with regulations.

This is a very exciting role for a good garduate with a keen eye for detail and an passion for high quality.

You will be:
Educated to degree level achieving a minimum of a 2.2 in mechanical engineering disciplin, with a strong academic background prior to university, achieving a minimum of 3 C s at A level (or equivalent).

  • IT savvy
  • Be highly organised and possess natural administrative qualities
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal Skills; working closely with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Hold a full driving licence

You will have a keen eye for detail and a consideration for spotting opportunities for improvement. As you will be part of an excellent team you will be able to draw upon years of experience and expertise thereby ensuring the appropriate solution is delivered at all times.
