Graduate Professional IT Sales Opportunities - New Business Consultant
(Location – Durham, Basic Starting Salary £16,000-£20,000 + bens)
Our Client requires bright and motivated individuals to join their growing new business team. They operate a pro-active consultative selling approach and your sole aim will be to build relationships with people. You must be business savvy, have an interest in new business, business improvement and technology. This is a very demanding role and you must demonstrate high levels of self motivation and determination.
You will be an ambitious individual with excellent communication skills and presence and must be able to present yourself as a highly professional individual. You will need to be confident to deliver presentations to board level.
Working with their New Business Team you will be involved in cold calling and prospecting; you must be able to use the relevant medium to identify suitable prospects and build up a portfolio of network contacts. You will attend prospecting meetings and ultimately be able to produce proposals and outline solutions appropriate to the client. You will need to understand the customer’s perspective, what their problems are and what we can do for them. Closing skills will be required to turn round opportunities in a timely fashion. Good written skills are required in order to produce professional reports and proposals.
You will be establishing and developing relationships with key influential business professionals across all industry sectors. Success in the role will be dependent on the ability to develop lasting and trusting relationships with senior business decision makers. You must demonstrate an ability to instil trust and confidence in others and be able to empathise with prospects; anticipating their needs.
