As an integral part of our operations team, you will use your organisational and time management skills to manage our supply chain. YouÆll be in charge of making sure we our making our products in the most efficient and timely way to ensure we can supply our customers with all the products they want. You will be working with the Production Manager to make sure that we get our products to flow through the supply chain in the most cost effective, environmentally friendly and efficient manner. Some of your responsibilities: ò Putting together the production plan to meet the anticipated demand ò Managing the stock level in the supply chain to the optimum level ò Working with our suppliers to increase production efficiencies and improve our supply chain ò Managing the information flow between the supplier and ourselves òUsing your commercial awareness and knowledge to influence business decisions from an operational perspective The skills and experience weÆd like to see: ò Good understanding of supply chain and production planning (at least 1 year's supply chain experience preferred) or experience within the food industry. ò Meticulous attention to detail ò Great systems knowledge û especially Excel ò A head for numbers òThe ability to make decisions under time pressure òCommercial understanding of manufacturing industry To apply for this role, you should be a real go-getter who is also passionate about contributing to a growing business. You will be degree educated (ideally in a business, engineering, maths or operational discipline) and eager to learn. A 2.ii or above is essential and at least 300 UCAS points With the ability to hit the ground running, you should also be big on initiative and commercially aware.
