EXPIRY NOTICE: This job has now expired and will not be accepting any more applications.

What do we do?

We are a leading supplier of technology designed specifically for the care sector. We install our products for use in both domestic and professional care environments, alongside other product ranges to assist with security and communications for the vulnerable.

We are a small company with a strong team culture and opportunities to work directly with senior staff and directors. There is a great opportunity to further develop your hands on skills, to gain experience in planning and management, and to implement new ideas. You will receive good training and ongoing support, as well as having genuine responsibility quickly.

Where do you come in?

Manufacturing our products involves circuit board assembly, plastic casing machining, electrical wiring, and quality checking.

You will initially learn the production process and our stock control techniques. From gaining this knowledge you will be able to progress and manage the process and staff involved; you will then have opportunities to streamline this process and implement new ideas.

What do you need to demonstrate?

We are looking for a minimum of a 2:2 degree in an engineering discipline which has covered elements of manufacturing, production, quality, or electrical engineering.

To do well in our business you’ll be a hands-on individual who has had an exposure to manufacturing projects or work experience.

If you are naturally organised, have an eye for detail and a quality driven approach then this would be a perfect role. You will also be a good communicator and have the potential to motivate and support a team. You will enjoy stepping back from a problem, analysing the situation and then implementing new ideas.

How do you apply?

This is a graduate position with interviews planned for Mid June -July 2011. To be considered please apply ASAP.

Your application will be screened within 2-3 working days and you will receive a call if you have been successful to conduct an initial telephone interview.

If you are successful we will be legally required to ensure you are eligible to work in the UK. Before you apply please check your eligibility.

All applications will be assessed by Discovery Graduates. We believe that every graduate is capable of getting a good graduate job given the right support, advice and training and we only work with companies who recognise the value that the right graduate can bring to their business.
