What is exciting about this role?

What do we do?
We manufacture silicon ingots and wafers, the key component in solar power systems. The world’s leading solar cell producers then combine these wafers into solar modules to utilise the clean, silent and renewable energy from the sun.
So where do you come in?
You would come in as a Graduate Process Development Trainee, looking at the development of processes of silicon, conducting research and development into improving our production processes and raw materials. You will conduct investigations and write reports, giving recommendations to our production and maintenance departments in both the UK, Germany and Japan.

What you need to demonstrate?
You will need a minimum 2:1 degree from a good University in either Physics or Materials, having covered modules in either semi-conductors, solar cells or silicon with excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work on your own initiative, pay attention to detail and be an excellent team player and be willing to undertake occasional international travel.
