Graduate Process Development Technologist û FMCG

It consistently innovates, to extend the range of products it could provide, and to open up new markets. There has been considerable investment in Product Development resulting in the recent completion of the product development centre in addition to our plans to strengthen the Development team.
As Process Development technologist you will be responsible for:
ò New process and packaging development
ò Process improvements providing competitive advantage through equipment selection and new technology.
ò Establishing data for effective costing and ensuring manufacturing viability.
ò Implement best practice for new product scale-up, trial and launches.
ò Providing support for the effective design of new products to optimise
process efficiency and product quality.
ò Facilitate product improvements and cost reduction through process design.
You will be working closely with the Development technologists throughout the development process providing advice on product design to optimise manufacturing and cost opportunities.
What we are looking for:
You must be a recent graduate from a Food technical or science background; you must be able to demonstrate an interest in the FMCG market place, technical developments in food and ingredients, have Strong analytical skills, and an interest New Product Development.
Some experience within a large scale food manufacturer is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and evidence of dealing with data either through work experience or at degree level are essential.
Be committed to practical problem solving and have a genuine interest in food.
