Graduate PR Assistant

Salary: £23,000

Location: Stockport

Joining a company that is experiencing significant growth, you will be instantly hands-on, helping position and positively influence the portrayal of m-hance in the press and by broadening the impact of m-hance within social media. Opportunity to engage in International PR campaigns and strategies in the USA and India.

Job purpose

·         Supporting the PR Manager by contributing to and implementing a portfolio of PR campaigns and strategies across the UK, the United States and India.

·         To increase m-hance s presence in social media through blogs, tweets and engaging in LinkedIn discussions.

·         To ensure timely delivery of customer references to the sales function in key vertical markets.

·         Responsible for sourcing opportunities, forward features, coverage tracking and maintenance of the PR database.

Job Role and Responsibilities

Help implement all PR activity, typically including the following channels:

·         Press releases

·         Customer case studies

·         Blogging/Tweeting

·         Newsletters

·         Videos

·         Podcasts

·         Events, exhibitions and seminars

·         Publishing

Knowledge skills and experience required

·         Ability to manage work load in a fast-paced but friendly environment.

·         Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a strong team player.

·         Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle several campaigns at once.

·         Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         A keen interest in B2B public relations and the media.

·         A positive and friendly person with a can do attitude and proactive approach to work .

·         Close attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high quality standards.

·         Shows excellent initiative and can work independently.

·         Solid Excel, PowerPoint and publishing skills.

Experience in Industry either through a placement year or post studies would be an advantage but not essential.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work towards an accreditation with the Institute of leadership and management, whilst developing essential business skills such as leadership, problem solving, communicating and influencing in a dynamic learning environment
