Graduate Placement / Opportunity (Public Sector, Housing and Regeneration)
Old Trafford, Manchester
Salary £14,206 - £19,313 pa pro rata
Our client is award winning housing organisation – providing homes and services to over 20,000 people in Greater Manchester. Their mission is "to create fantastic places to live and work and enjoy life” and they’re constantly striving to achieve this through the work they do.
They are recognised nationally as a great employer (Financial Times Top 50 Great Places to Work) and their Gold Service ethos is reflected in their fantastic Four Tier Employment Package.
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate or a Postgraduate to join them for a summer placement of 4 – 6 weeks commencing in mid July/early August depending upon your availability.
The project will investigate how development and regeneration activities undertaken by the company can help support the promotion of Equality and Diversity. This will cover the design and specification of new homes and the regeneration of existing stock, understanding local needs and demands and tailoring their solutions to meet those needs especially focusing on hard to reach groups.
To be considered for this placement you must be an Undergraduate or a Postgraduate, who has studied a relevant course in urban renewal, regeneration or housing. They are looking for strong communicators who have an enthusiastic approach to the project rather than any specific skills or experience in previous roles.
A full driving licence is essential and, although access to a car for work purposes would be ideal, they can provide a company car for the duration of your placement should one be required.
