We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated graduate to play a major role in a strategic two year collaborative project between Northbrook College Sussex and the University of Brighton. The successful candidate will be based at Northbrook College and will lead a project which aims to optimise operational performance, reduce costs and enable the development of new funding streams to support the college’s financial objectives of covering reduced per-head learner funding and delivering investment capacity to support future growth.
Northbrook is a Further Education (FE) College with about 4,000 full time equivalent students. Programmes range from pre-entry to degree and post graduate level, including a significant apprenticeship provision. Students are aged from 14 upwards, with Further Education Learners funded via the LSC and Higher Education learners by HEFCE.
This opportunity, as part of the government’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme, will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to lead a project which is central to the future growth of the college and
to become expert in business process re-engineering and performance monitoring. If relevant, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to register for a funded higher degree such as an MSc.
Bachelors degree at 2.1 or above in a Business related subject or in a numerate discipline with Business experience.
A higher degree in an associated area would also be an advantage, as would a relevant industrial placement or other industrial experience.
