GMC - Graduate Opportunities
NOTICE: This job has now expired and will not be accepting any more
Don’t let the word ‘medical’ fool you.
The GMC is the regulator of the medical profession. We are involved in a rapid programme of reform and are committed to delivering excellence in medical regulation. We are looking for exceptional and talented graduates to join our graduate development programme.
We have a wide range of opportunities available from Fitness to Practise Officers, who probe allegations made against doctors or support the running of hearings, to Education Officers who promote high standards in medical education. You could even be involved in business critical IT projects designed to transform the way we work.
Then there are the roles which are absolutely central to any large organisation – policy, strategy and planning. Whatever discipline you come from, or whatever your ambition, the likelihood is that we have a role to suit.
With at least a 2:1, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with strong analytical and organisational skills. You will be able to demonstrate a strong determination to succeed and a desire to work for an organisation that really makes a difference.
In return for your commitment, we offer a stimulating environment where quality counts and the opportunity to develop your skills through a mix of hands on experience, development workshops and mentoring.
