We are an innovative publishing house based in Bristol working on both print and digital products offering an excellent opportunity for a graduate to join as a sales trainee. Our aim is to develop exciting new publications through the use of innovative combinations of traditional and new media in order to make sure our products stand out in this competitive market.

We are looking for an ambitious graduate to join our sales force and support a variety of projects. You will be required to undertake telephone sales activity for our specialist portfolios, including securing advertiser copy and payment. The role will require work with both direct clients and advertising agencies.

Sales experience is not essential but an understanding of sales and the right attitude is a must. We are looking for someone who is happy working to targets and has excellent interpersonal skills. Good communication skills, an ability to build rapport and hold an intelligent conversation are must have attributes.

This opportunity offers an excellent opportunity to join a company and gain some excellent sales training whilst becoming part of a company that is undertaking a number of exciting projects both in print and digitally.

The starting salary for this position is 12-14k with an OTE of 16k and offers an excellent opportunity for the first step into media sales. Full training will be provided and the chance to progress to roles offering more responsibility such as large account management will be on offer as your sales skills develop.
