Job summary
Gentech, a Measurement Specialties Company based in Girvan are looking for a graduate for a mechanical/CAD engineer role. The 12 month project is based in Girvan and will enhance our existing team.
Job Description
Due to business expansion, the company requires a graduate engineer to work closely with its team of experienced engineers.
It is expected that the graduate engineer will complement the existing team to ensure that projects are delivered in a timely manner. New product introduction is paramount to our business and a faster turnaround will help achieve our growth levels within the company.
The graduate will manage customer projects from concept design through to production.
Skills / Experience
Essential
- Any Engineering degree with product design background
- Knowledge of ISO9001 processes and procedures
- Capable of working and planning to firm deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Great team spirit
Ideal
- Electronics knowledge would be a benefit
- Knowledge of CAD ( Solidworks CAD is used)
Qualifications
- Any engineering degree
