Established in 1983, Aston Manor is the largest independently owned cider maker in the UK.

You may be more familiar with our brands than you are with our company but as second largest cider producer in the UK, our business is no small beer!

Operating from three sites, Aston Manor Cider has a production and packaging facility in Birmingham, orchards in Worcestershire and Herefordshire and a further production and packaging facility at Tiverton in Devon.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role has been created through the growth of our cider brand portfolio and our ambitions to grow further market share. As a Brands Marketing Executive you will work across our suite of brands, maximising opportunities for sponsorship and ensuring our digital and social channel content is effectively planned and implemented.

It is anticipated that you will be based at our Head Office in Birmingham for approximately 3-4 days per week, with the remainder of the week spent attending meetings, trade show/festival events and/or briefing agencies. You will be expected to work some weekends managing sponsorship activation events, but will receive additional holiday days in lieu to compensate for this.

Over 2-3 years, the successful candidate will be supported in their role to develop into a Brands Digital Content Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and effective implementation of the Kingstone Press Cider brand
  • Activation of brand sponsorships with Tough Mudder & Rugby League
  • Work with Brand Managers and agency partners to plan and implement effective content calendars for social media & digital channels
  • Work with 3rd party collaborators & suppliers to develop branded content
  • Develop, manage and maintain all brand & corporate websites through CMS platforms
  • Develop and maintain a monthly digital & social interaction report for relevant brands
  • Manage the digital & social campaign budget for all brands and ensure all campaign activity is delivered on time and within budget
  • Work with our Customer Account Managers to maximise opportunities to develop our brands’ presence on customers online channels
  • Support new customer channel development initiatives

The Individual

Academically, we are looking for CCC (or higher) at A-level and a 2:2 degree (or higher) from a marketing or business-related background. You will have strong communication skills both verbal and written. You will also have;

  • A genuine passion for marketing within the drinks industry and FMCG sector
  • Effective communication skills with excellent copy writing abilities
  • Understanding and knowledge of digital & social platforms (essential)
  • Experience of digital marketing, video & photo editing (advantageous)
  • Effective relationship building skills
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Solid understanding of project management
  • The ability to manage large volumes of data
  • Strong attention to detail
