Project Description:

The company is expanding both in the UK and internationally and needs to have a co-herent marketing strategy in place to support the Business Development function. As a service and technology provider to a broad spectrum of industries, using the latest technology to assist with repair, and Health and Safety, it is of key importance to maintaining a focus on market drives.

We have a unique product in Europe so need to focus on a proactive rather than reactive strategy that will drive the business forward by honing in on key industries, regions and markets.

Role Description:

You will work in conjunction with the Business Development function to create a marketing strategy for the next two-three years, with a rational for market entry and expansion, both on an industry and geographical basis. Reporting to the Managing Director and Operational Director, you will be responsible for implementing the initial year, building the brand and generating sales leads.

Key tasks will include:

  • exploring and implementing new marketing avenues for the company;
  • liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations;
  • communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
  • sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications, managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs;
  • arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
  • maintaining and updating customer databases;
  • organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
  • managing social media campaigns;
  • managing budgets;
  • evaluating marketing campaigns;
  • monitoring competitor activity.

Graduate from undergraduate degree or above. All disciplines accepted.
