Marketing Administrator: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - Ref: GPMA12.11

Location: Ocean Village, Southampton
Start Date: Jan 2013
Package: 6 month contract starting salary £18,000 p.a. pro rata. With the possibility of a bonus and full time position subject to review.

Job Role:

We’re a friendly and driven team looking for a candidate who has the energy and commitment to see tasks through to completion, and who desires to work in a challenging and varied environment, working alongside our award winning team of property tax specialists.

As a Marketing/Administrator, you will be involved in all aspects of the business, including developing the client database, sending introductory letters to prospects and making follow up calls, supporting the technical team on project delivery, archiving and administration.

The role will include:

  • Researching and identifying potential contacts within key target sectors.
  • Data collection, entry and analysis on current projects.
  • Developing E³’s marketing delivery, materials and maintaining our CRM database.
  • Updating media lists and developing a communications schedule.
  • Support to organise seminars/conferences and to represent the company as an ambassador out of the office at Networking events as required.
  • Other administrative tasks, including filing, post, copying.


Person Specification:


  • An Honours Degree (BSc, BA or LLB) at either 2:1 or 1st
  • Grade B or above in Math’s and English Language at GCSE


Key Competencies:

  • Bright, enthusiastic and engaged.
  • A logical thinker with excellent attention to detail.
  • Be effective at both oral and written communication and excellent telephone skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Quick and accurate data inputting skills and a good level of computer literacy, including Word and Excel, with the ability to pick up new systems and packages easily and quickly.
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely and work proactively in team environment.
