At McGeoch Technology we specialise in designing, engineering and manufacturing a wide range of bespoke electrical and electronic equipment predominantly for the Naval Defence sector.

Operating from our headquarters in Birmingham, our design and manufacturing capability covers a wide range of products including power distribution, control and instrumental panels and bespoke electrical equipment including lighting.

We are looking to recruit an engineering graduate who can demonstrate strong analytical skills, initiative and coordination in order to take on a role within the manufacturing side of our business.

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time-constraints and resourcing. A key function of this role is to liaise across all areas of the business internally to ensure that all projects are on track. After liaising with the various departments you will then be responsible for ensuring that the timing and scheduling of projects is being adhered to.

As part of the role you will be required to take ownership for certain elements of costing’s, quality and timings. You will be a key link between the master production schedule that has been issued by the Operations Manager and the coordination of the production facility.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, attributes and experience:

  • A minimum of a 2.2 at degree level in an Engineering related discipline (Mechanical and Manufacturing) and CCC (or equivalent) at A-Level. 
  • Drive and enthusiasm in order to contribute to a thriving and growing business
  • Strong and confident communication skills in order to work effectively and clearly both internally and externally with customers
  • Able to multitask and efficiently prioritise whilst performing under the pressure of a fast paced environment.
