The Role and Responsibilities

Sitting within the Export Sales team you will provide a link between the team from the Fresh Pork business to overseas contacts in the Far East.  You will be responsible for assisting the team in managing the trading of products from the Cranswick Business into new and existing overseas markets.

Intially, you will spend up to 6 months within the Production area of the business, with a focus on the function that you will be joining,  in order to provide you with the understanding and knowledge needed to progress into Export Sales.

You will be responsible for managing the relationship between overseas customers and Cranswick whilst ensuring that cultural differences are accounted for and managed throughout. Due to the nature of the role you will accompany the Export Trading Manager on business trips overseas and will be required to provide translations as and when required.

It is essential that successful applicants for this role speak fluent Cantonese and hold a good level of spoken and written English.

An interest in food and business is essential, but we do not expect experience more a desire and enthusiasm to learn and progress.
