Suttons Group is a privately owned global supply chain and logistics company. We are market leaders in UK distribution of liquids and gases for a portfolio of major customers.

We specialise in providing bulk transport of chemicals, gases, fuels and food together with bespoke supply chain products and services.

Our group headquarters are based in Cheshire, UK and we operate internationally with 16 offices globally.

Suttons operates within competitive and fast moving sectors and our teams are made up of the most experienced and highly skilled logistics professionals. To add to our future success we are looking to develop bright and ambitious graduates with a blend of skills, enabling them to move into senior management positions in the future.

The two year programme will be made up of various rotations and projects that are tailored to the individual. These will vary in length but will be a minimum of 6 months. It is essential that candidates are flexible to relocate as it is likely that one placement may take place internationally, although this is not guaranteed for all candidates.

Placements and projects are likely to take place in the following departments:

• HR
• Finance
• Operations
• Business Development
• Procurement

The placements, together with the project work are designed to give graduates an initial understanding of the functions and how they support the business in general.

Suttons Group are extremely keen for graduates to have as much exposure to the business as possible in order for them to make an impact.

The eventual role that a graduate will undertake having completed the programme, will be based on a number of factors that will include how they have performed and progressed through their placements, together with the business requirement at the time.

In order to be considered, applicants will have a minimum of 2.1 at degree level, ideally in a business related discipline. The ability to speak a second language would able be beneficial given the global nature of our business, although is not essential.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a range of competencies, including business acumen, commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, strong leadership potential as well as being numerate.
