The SITEFORUM Group, a leader in Social Community Software, supplies the technology of the business portal. SITEFORUM combines powerful community features, CMS (Content Management System) including multilingualism with contact management, online marketing, search engine optimization, intranet and extranet functions and many more.

We wish to appoint a Graphic Designer to generate online and offline visual content for a variety of functions. One major function will be supporting the Online Presence Projects.

You will assist the Marketing and Online Presence Team by providing attractive promotional materials to improve both our internal and external visual presence.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their capacity to produce a range of Graphic collaterals professionally (i.e. technically competent, visually appealing, transferrable to web and print), with output comparable to conventional corporate and promotional collaterals and to liaise professionally with clients (internal and external) and managers.

There would be a requirement for flexibility with regards to working hours, as some evening and weekend work will be included.

In order to identify the most suitable candidates, part of the interview process will constitute a portfolio review.


  1. To provide a professional design service, for digital media and offline collateral
  2. To assist the online presence team with creating HTML/CSS based templates for content layout
  3. To improve both internal and external perceptions of our online and offline visual presence
  4. To inform stakeholders about the university, partners and offerings
  5. To assist marketing by providing rich promotional materials for a variety of activities
  6. To assist the faculty marketing team with the development of visual stimulating and technically competent promotional materials
  7. To develop promotional materials that capture the many cross-curricular events that take place
  8. To liaise professionally with clients (internal and external) and managers.

Working Hours:

35 hours per week, duration 11 weeks. Week 12 comprises professional training of a 2 day induction and a 3 day final training event

Key skills required:

Successful completion of at least the 3rd year of an appropriate degree or relevant professional qualification.

Demonstrable Graphic Design skills with full knowledge of the Creative suite and HTML/ CSS for websites.  Knowledge and Experience:  

  • Some corporate Graphic Design experience  
  • Solid  knowledge of Creative suite, including HTML  & CSS  
  • Familiar with Digital Media 
  • Experience of working with clients on creative briefs
  • Experience of creating graphic content for digital media usage
  • Experience with Content Management Systems 
  • Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS for websites and for HTML emails 
  • Good Understanding of Javascript and Programming Languages.
