As one of the leading suppliers of golfing equipment, you will be responsible for selling to golf course outlets and specific golfing retailers throughout the UK. Their portfolio of brands combines to offer a complete retail solution covering hardware, soft goods and apparel. They work with brands such as Spalding, TailorMade, Nike and Nicklaus.
They require people with good communication skills as well as an ability to organise in a disciplined manner. Candidates must have a willingness to develop their understanding of relationship management within a commercial environment, in order to achieve strategic goals.
This is an intelligent lead sell and will require candidates to have a good understanding of what activities potential clients are running e.g. golfing tournaments and events. You must have the ability to spot opportunities to sell additional products.
The person needs to be enthusiastic, focused, articulate, have a consultative approach and have a good eye for detail. This role will require candidates to deal with challenging situations with a cool head and be able to manage clients at all levels.
You will be working on long term relationships and networking with your clients will be key to your success.
Training will be given both internally and where appropriate externally to help successful candidates develop within the role.
