Graduate HR Generalist / HR Assistant
Our client is an electronics solutions company providing comprehensive electronics design, production and product management services to global electronics and technology companies.
They are currently recruiting for a HR Generalist to join their team at their Aftermarket Services site in Coventry. You will be responsible for providing general HR and administration support to the managers in their business to ensure the smooth running of their HR department. Resourcing and training new employees, you will write and review job descriptions, give guidance and support to the relevant managers regarding selection and provide feedback for candidates in a timely manner. You will develop and analyse their training needs and liaise with trainers and supervisors to ensure mandatory training is completed and recorded. Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on all employee relations issues, it will be your responsibility to monitor and continuously improve policies and procedures whilst maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
The ideal candidate for this role will be part or fully CIPD qualified or hold an equivalent degree. Possessing excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, you will have good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and previous experience of using HR SAP is desirable. As an assertive and self-motivated individual, you will maintain our open door policy and be flexible in your approach to helping and supporting others. As you will be required to train new employees, it is vital that you are confident when speaking to large groups as well as individuals and that you remain impartial at all times.
