This 5 month placement, based at the Scotland HQ in Edinburgh, will give the graduate valuable finance experience in a real business environment to support their development as a finance professional.

Project Description

We are currently looking for a recent graduate with strong analytical skills to join our Europe Supply business as a Finance Analyst. The role will be based at Scotland headquarters in Edinburgh and is responsible for a lean analysis on BPM processes. The purpose of this role is to provide a graduate with rich and valuable finance experience in a real business environment to support their development as a finance professional.

The role will involve:

•        setting out the end to end current process

•        identifying duplication and gaps

•        designing the proposed process

•        developing an implementation (including engagement) plan

•        a ‘bible’ to ensure process can be maintained - This will act as a key reference document for Commercial Finance.

Role Description

Main responsibilities will include:

•        Project manage

•        Data collection

•        Process documentation

•        Team comms and engagement

•        Quickly get up to speed on how (and why ) activities are done as they are

•        Own the communication and engagement plan to ensure project gets the right information in the most efficient way and people are committed to successful outcome

•        Recognise and document all impacts and driving factors

•        Monthly updates and analysis.

•        In addition you will have the opportunity to get exposure to other areas within the function.

Skills / Experience

Qualifications

•        Recent graduate in one of the following disciplines (finance, economics, business administration) with an interest to pursue a career in finance.
