We’re looking for a Graduate Field Sales Executive to join our team and support our clients in our South territory. We are VBH, a manufacturing company with a global annual turnover of over $690 million. We produce hardware for a variety of industries (with particular expertise in providing branded windows and doors for manufacturers and distributors across the globe).

Join us if you have excellent people skills, a flair for business and drive, and in return we will provide support and specific graduate training to help you succeed in a professional sales environment.

THE ROLE

As a Graduate Field Sales Executive you will be selling the added value of VBH to hardware partners in the South Territory (which covers most of the South East and across to Hampshire and Wiltshire).

You will be working in a business to business environment (B2B) and visiting an estimated 50% new and 50% existing accounts. Meeting with key contacts you will provide support, explore issues, discuss solutions and promote appropriate new products and services.

We provide an uncapped commission scheme but it’s realistic that you will earn an annual bonus of £5,000 to £10,000 for the first few years in the position.

This territory is already successful but we are looking for someone with flair and drive to further develop our relationships and achieve business growth.

We will provide support and training to ensure that you are successful and achieve promotion into an Area Sales Manager position. You will report to our National Sales Manager who will work closely with you as you begin your career. Alongside this you will be enrolled on to the Discovery Graduates “Sales Winners” programme which will help to accelerate your development in your first commercial role with VBH.

THE REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for graduate calibre individuals who have a suitable skill set to be successful in a commercial career. You will be excellent at the following skills:

  • Planning and achieving goals
  • Building relationships
  • Negotiation

We aren’t looking for a specific area of study; instead we are interested in your potential and your focus on a career in professional selling.

Due to the nature of the role you will have a full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel daily.

THE PROCESS
