We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering graduate, ideally with an industrial placement/ experience in quality control. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate good theoretical knowledge but is also willing to be hands on’. Experience is not essential but an attitude to work hard and learn new skills is paramount. The right candidate must be someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and also be able to work both autonomously and as part of a small team. The successful graduate will need to have good numeracy skills as you will be required to undertake detailed statistical analysis of complex data in order to compile technical reports.

As an Environmental and Quality Assurance Engineer you will be working on the testing, inspecting and auditing of products, ensuring they comply with Health and Safety standards as well as those set by our clients. Acting as a central source of advice, you will be involved in undertaking specific product tests, providing results, and ensuring that all the relevant equipment is calibrated in a timely and accurate manner. This is a client facing role, you will be required to provide exceptional customer service so any experience in this field would also be beneficial.

The basic salary for the position is 18-23k dependent on experience and the opportunity offers an excellent chance to learn new skills and progress to much higher degrees of responsibility.
