We require exceptional engineering graduates to join our team and help improve the efficiency and quality of our production and manufacturing systems. We produce millions of filters a day so this will be an excellent challenge for a graduate to learn and develop their skills whilst producing tangible results.
This is a hands-on position with excellent promotion potential, a well structured training programme and chance to learn many new skills. We will also support you in attaining Chartered status.
Working within the Continuous Development Team you will be working on a number of different projects in order to improve our systems and processes. The role will allow you to experience a number of different systems and learn new skills in an exciting and real role.
We are looking for a graduate with a strong academic background, who is willing to be hands-on and can demonstrate an aptitude and desire to work in this environment.
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing and personable one who can demonstrate a strong personality and resilience. This role will allow you to progress into a management role, such as production management, so good man management skills would be beneficial.
Training and Development
At Filtrona, you’ll have responsibility from day one. You’ll learn as you go and you’ll learn fast - through a combination of hands-on experience and a structured development programme.
The Graduate Training Programme is run over 2 years providing you with the foundations you will need to succeed. Part of the training programme will be held in the UK and part in the USA allowing you to broaden your social networks as well as your business knowledge.
We aim to instil a strong commercial sense - raising awareness of each role’s organisational function and its impact on the company’s bottom line.
