The Dawn Meats Graduate Programme provides a great opportunity to be exposed to all parts of our business. The position will primarily be based in the production and operations environment. The ultimate goal is that you will become a key member of our Engineering team and a real asset to the company.

The most important thing a graduate can do within our business is ask questions and learn – we are preparing you for a future successful career within a dynamic industry but it is essential that you understand our business and the market place.

You will be exposed to all elements of our business processes and will work on a variety of projects, and sometimes you will be shadowing experts within our field. Your desire to learn and adapt your skill set to new challenging environments will provide you with daily variety.

We are looking to strengthen our Engineering team in our business. Spending time at our different sites is essential to understand the different processes and procedures that we go through. Working on various projects you will spend time with the Engineering Managers and will be responsible for all engineering maintenance  functions on site such as machine repairs and updates, the scheduling of engineering functions, process improvement and health and safety. You will receive training and support to develop you to become a future manager within our business - we want to grow people to develop through our company.

The successful applicant for this role will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of a 2.2 (or equivalent).

A background in agriculture or food is beneficial, but not essential.
