Our client is a leading international manufacturer of precision engineered components and systems for tolerance critical applications. The Group operates in the aerospace, industrial gas turbine, specialist automotive, petrochemical, construction, industrial, transportation and recreation markets employing around 5,100 people across 37 sites in the UK, USA, Germany, Belgium, Mexico and China. It has a genuinely global client base comprising most of the industry leaders within the Group’s key areas of activity.
Due to continued growth, combined with exciting development plans, the company have career opportunities for ambitious, talented graduate trainees to join their dynamic organisation.
Each year, they recruit up to 10 graduates, mostly from engineering disciplines for entry to our Graduate Development Programme. The challenging and diverse graduate programme offers you the opportunity for career development in almost any direction. Through six-month secondments at different manufacturing sites, you will gain a full understanding of the business and, as you progress, will be given the opportunity to tailor your programme to suit your aspirations. Your six-monthly placements will be at four different manufacturing sites around the UK and you must be prepared to move to the different locations as required.
Candidates require a predicted or actual first or 2:1 honours degree or equivalent in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, product design, communications, metallurgy or other relevant, engineering related process. As well as technical expertise and an analytical approach to problem-solving, you will possess excellent team-working capability and self-motivation to develop your talents within the business. Creativity and a passion for technology are essential in our organisation.
