This company is a growing, dynamic accountancy firm providing consultancy for Management Buy Outs, fund raising, acquisitions and disposals. Building on a gap in the market, they make Corporate Finance advice available to small to medium sized businesses.
The experienced team is dedicated to assisting clients to buy and sell shares in private companies and raise funds to grow their businesses; their specialist arena is transactions up to £15m.
This business is more focused around brokering deals than traditional accountancy and are therefore more results driven than process driven.
The Role
You will be responsible for business development, project management and supporting the senior partners with their projects and clients. Your role will involve researching and spotting opportunities and therefore you must have a strong commercial awareness and experience. You should be an excellent communicator, like dealing with people and have a drive for results and be comfortable negotiating. You will be responsible for putting together financial modeling around deals, so therefore should also be very analytical and numerate. The company will sponsor you to complete additional Corporate Finance qualifications through the ICA. Upon completion of these qualifications which should take 2 years, you will become a Partner in the business and provide you a quicker route to this level than traditional accountancy and you could become a Director of the business as quickly as 3 years depending on your progress.
