Graduate Consultant - Market Development

Location: Stockport

We also acquired sub-divisions of Maxima Holdings PLC’s Maxima Business Solutions Division.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be enthusiastic about a role that will support future growth within the company. Job purpose

Provide support to the Market Development Director, to include the following:

· Market Research

· Creating a business case for development

· Taking an idea for a product from its initial inception to release

· Planning and development requirements gathering

· Involvement in product launch & marketing

· After launch - developing the product roadmap

· Product Demonstrations (Client Facing)

· Support Senior Pre-Sales staff with demonstration preparation

· Tender Responses

Specific duties and responsibilities

· Reporting on Market trends, market research

· Understanding and researching competitor products

· Working with all parts of the business and all levels of staff

· Attending Customer Meetings (ability to travel is critical)

· Presenting solutions both internally and to customers.

· Supporting Sales & Senior Pre-Sales staff

· Working with Partners

· Developing Product Strategy, preparing business case information

· Excellent Written & Verbal Skills

· Creative thinking

· Ability to work from own initiative

· Focus on specific goals and good time management

· Highly Analytical with ability to present summary findings clearly

· Ability to work under pressure and be flexible

· Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and adapt and deliver in a fast paced and complex environment


· Travel will be expected driving licence required.

· Passion or high level of interest in technology (although programming skills are not required).

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work towards an accreditation with the Institute of leadership and management, whilst developing essential business skills such as leadership, problem solving, communicating and influencing in a dynamic learning environment.
