THE ROLE

VBH are a leading manufacturing company with a global annual turnover of over €690 million. We produce hardware for a variety of industries (with particular expertise in branded windows and doors for distributors across the globe).

As a Graduate Commercial Executive you will begin your career with VBH working with our partners in our Southern UK Territory (which covers most of the South East and across to Hampshire and Wiltshire).

You will be working in a business to business environment (B2B) and visiting an estimated 50% new and 50% existing accounts. Meeting with key contacts you will provide support, explore issues, discuss solutions and promote new products and services. This is a rewarding position is you have a flair for face-to-face communication and negotiation.

We provide an uncapped commission scheme but it’s realistic that you will earn an annual bonus of between £5,000 and £10,000. The next step is to become an Area Sales Manager.

This territory is already successful but we are looking for someone with flair and drive to further develop our relationships and achieve business growth.

We provide support and training to ensure you are successful and achieve progression. You will report to our National Sales Manager who will work closely with you as you begin your career. Alongside this you will be enrolled on to the Discovery Graduates “Sales Winners” programme which will help to accelerate your development in your first commercial role with VBH and upon successful completion you will receive an accreditation from the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.

THE REQUIREMENTS

We are not looking for experience but we are looking for graduate or graduate calibre individuals who possess the core attributes that can be developed. We are looking for: -

  • An individual who likes people and relishes the opportunity to build relationships.
  • A natural flair for commerce and a desire to personally achieve.

We aren’t looking for a specific area of study; instead we are interested in your potential and your focus on a career in professional selling.

Due to the nature of the role you will have a full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel daily.

THE PROCESS
