Based in Shrewsbury and rotating through the business for the first 6-12 months, you will be exposed to a number of key areas such as customer service, technical development, commercial development, labs and production facilities. You will progress into a commercial role, within the UK market, once you have an in-depth understanding of the business, their processes and product range.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your task will be to obtain, develop, grow and manage commercial accounts within the UK market by representing Morris Lubricants professionally and consistently. You’ll do this by developing a consultative approach where you will generate an in-depth understanding of your clients' businesses. You will seek to build relationships with new and potential customers, manage and support existing clients, follow up on any internal inquiries and utilise warm leads and data developed by the businesses marketing team.

The individual

Academically, we are looking for CCC (or higher) at A-level and a 2:2 degree (or higher) from any discipline completed within the last 3 years. You will have strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Salary & Benefits

At Morris Lubricants, we know how hard our graduates work and what a substantial contribution they make to our business and because of this, we offer the people who join us a very attractive package.

This includes:

  • A starting salary of £23,000 – £25,000
  • Organisational share scheme
  • Extensive commercial training
  • OTE of £40,000 after three years in the role
  • Bonus and commission structure
  • OTE of £55,000 after three to five years in the role


Morris Lubricants are committed to the training and development of a graduate into this role. Alongside your internal training and mentoring, you’ll also be enrolled onto the Discovery Graduates “Sales Winners” training course which will help to accelerate your performance over your first 12 months.

We provide an exciting hands-on training experience alongside the Discovery Graduates development programme, The OPEN Programme, which supports graduates in their transition from academia to working life, equipping them with the skills, and encouraging the behaviours that their employers most value.
