The Role Progressive are looking for a proactive, focused candidate to take on the role of a Business Development Manager. This role is to develop and administer ProgressiveÆs larger contract accounts. You must possess the ability to identify prospective new clients along with both single and multiple contractor account and then successfully manage, maintain and grow further. Once you have identified a prospective client, your job will be to promote ProgressiveÆs brand, successfully networking to win more business and grow the account. As ProgressiveÆs face to face representative, you will need to be smart and credible, with excellent communication skills and strong commercial acumen as the job will entail negotiating margins, extensions, terms & conditions as well as resolving problems that arise with clients and contractors. You must have a diplomatic and non-confrontational approach and have the ability to make crucial business decisions that are commercially viable to all parties. You will be expected to travel to client sites, so a driving licence is essential. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months sales experience and will be able to demonstrate the ability to build and develop long-term relationships as well as the drive and ambition to succeed and achieve.
